We are Payton Players.
Payton Players promotes arts education for students at Chicago's Walter Payton College Prep through casual participation in our Payton Players Drama Club as well as mainstage and student-directed productions throughout the year. Our cast and crew work together to inspire and challenge audiences in our community and beyond.

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! Join Payton Players for an evening of nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented ensemble), an onstage plane crash, a train chase, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned romance!
